Fall is in full glory, and we have an abundance of farm fresh produce– from sweet carrots to peppy pumpkins to sun-kissed peppers! Don't forget our free range eggs, and meat from our pasture-raised poultry and sustainably-raised heirloom Berkshire hogs. Come visit us for breakfast or lunch, or just stop by for a snack while cycling.
Regular visitors to Cape May are used to being spoiled with the freshest seafood. Our 62-acre Beach Plum Farm will spoil you with farm-fresh produce. The Ebbitt Room, Blue Pig Tavern, Rusty Nail, The Boiler Room, Louisa's Cafe and Exit Zero Cookhouse are all served by the farm, which is less than 2 miles away from the restaurants.
Right now, and the number is growing all the time, more than 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers are grown and harvested for the restaurant's kitchens. Three mornings a week, fruit and vegetables are hand-picked at the farm and delivered so our chefs can develop daily menu specials around them.
At the Beach Plum Farm Market, you can browse two floors of fresh produce harvested from the farm, local artisanal products, plus cool, farm-inspired merchandise, from cookbooks to kitchen knick-knacks. Meanwhile, the Farm Kitchen is serving up ridiculously good breakfast sandwiches plus irresistible lunches.
Start your morning with goodness in a glass. The fresh juices at Beach Plum Farm provide the perfect start to your day or a vitamin-filled refresher in the afternoon. Choose from favorites such as Beet Juice; Carrot, Apple and Ginger Juice; and Ultimate Green Juice.
After you work up an appetite on a bike ride or a guided tour through the farm, step inside the barn to order farm-fresh salads and sandwiches available at the Beach Plum Farm Kitchen. Have a seat on the patio and inhale the scents of the herbs growing around you while enjoying egg salad on whole wheat with a side of pasta salad or BBQ pulled pork (from our Berkshire pigs) with coleslaw and a side of potato salad.
